Step back, study it again. You might need to back-up!When I was 18, my friend and I were hunting rabbits in the desert. We were driving an old station wagon that I am sure my father let us use because he remembered being a boy once, too. We would get stuck in the sand and then dig and push our way out. On this occasion we were stuck in the wash below the road working our way back to the road. We would line the path of the wheels with branches and one of us pushed while the other drove. We struggled for over an hour. Finally after much effort we were only within five feet of the road. The going was very difficult and slow. Just then two cowboys, hats, boots and pick-up truck, from New Mexico State University drove up and asked if we needed help. Excitedly, we invited them to assist us. I had a quick vision of them pulling out a chain or rope and pulling us out. One fellow climbed into the driver’s seat of our car, threw it into reverse, and backed down to the bottom again. Before I had time to yell and get angry he gunned the motor, threw it into drive and with new momentum, picked a new path and shot through the sand up to the road. How many times have you lost your momentum, and you are stuck, inching along doing the same old thing. Stop! Look the situation over, back-up and get increased momentum, perhaps choose a new direction, but dont give up on your goal.Enjoy 500 Motivational Quotes“Nothing can be done exceptlittle by little.”--Charles Baudelaire“If you have no confidence in self, you are twice defeated in the race of life.
